A wonderful lake with an excellent path around the entire perimeter. The stream that leads into the lake are perfect for my dog to het water and cool off, however, be cautious that the water in the lake itself is rather stagnant. I recommend going in the morning when around 6:15 am to get the best view of the sunrise.

Great for kayaking, hiking, biking, or simply walking. Only thing lake Atlanta isn't good for is fishing, it's the only body of water where I have watched literally dozens of fish flinch if you even pretend to cast a rod.

We love this trail, and so does our dog. We walk it often. The number of people that do not have the courtesy to pick up after their pets here is just sad, must be the same type that just leaves their shopping carts in the lot to roll around and bang into cars that are not theirs.

It’s a opened lake so much for running taking a breather a hike a bike trail a therapy venue bring your dog your kids a bike a scooter. I use this place as a excise location i use the stairs part running and part jogging and walk it down. It’s about a hour around. If you go from the bike trail park to the tip then perhaps more. You see everything people fishing walking there dog, walking, bike, mommas with kids etc. do not bring your bestest shoes lol there is a lot of poop though sad but true it’s the wild life can’t keep it 100 at all times.
